We tend to store a lot of emotion in our hips and it can be a difficult one to let go of. The key is to hold poses for at least 5 breaths and consciously give your body and mind permission to let go, to release, to surrender and unfold. This will eventually allow your body to let go of any built up tension or emotions you may be storing in the hip area. Try any or all of these poses and feel yourself letting go and opening up; physically and emotionally.
