I believe that the mind and body are strongly linked. The more we combine a beautiful physical yoga practice with a deep meditation practice, the more we can understand our own behaviour, health and happiness.
I love to challenge the mind with a strong physical class, but also challenge it with complete stillness; allowing a deeper restorative yoga practice to still the body and mind so we can heal and rejuvenate on a holistic level. But above all, I believe that meditation is the key to healthy living. If the mind is focused, clear and steady, then the body will naturally follow. You begin to see the world more clearly and understand what your body needs on an intuitive level.
